Whats your chickens menue like?

Let's see... in addition to their layer pellets, my flock of three get:
stale homemade bread (1-2 slices a week)
excess kefir grains when I have 'em
fermented grains (about a quarter cup of wild bird/pigeon feed daily)
weeds from the lawn and garden
leftovers from our meals
veggie scraps
overripe produce from the garden (we have had a lot of split tomatoes this year; lucky chickens!)
any bugs they find when allowed free range time

They don't get all this every day; usually 1-2 things from the list each day. Always looking for more feeding ideas that are free, cheap, or provide special nutritional benefits.

Purina layena (I posted the image so everyone could read the front) in their feeder, they get that whenever they want.

Then they get to free range and scratch through our compost pile which is packed with worms(but once they discovered it the worms are more sparse in population, lol!). They peck at grass, clover, seeds, and sometimes I go out "picking" where I put a bunch of clover, dandelions, grass, and give it to them. For extra calcium I also give them cracked egg shells whenever we use their eggs, and I've even given them a boiled egg before, which doesn't form egg eating habits.

Whenever we eat cauliflower we give them the stumps of them and whatnot, and sometimes I give them some overripe fruit that's been in the fridge too long. They've had strawberries, tomatoes, oranges(though they didn't like them) and some sliced apples.

It's been a few days so I'm going to give them some strawberries and grapes I didn't like, maybe I'll get fancy and make a "chicken salad", haha!
