Here's my dog during the latest snowstorm. She's 3/4 labrador, 1/4 husky. Her name is Blaze, short for Trailblazer. Named so because of the blaze on her face like a horse. Trailblazer came later when I began taking her out on trails and she just skims right through the woods with hardly a sound. She's 10 years old this month, hardly any arthritis, still slim but not as much stamina as she used to have

Here's Pipsqueek or "Squeekers" for short. He's 1/2 Boston Terrier, 1/4 Chihuahua. 1/4 Rat Terrier. He's whiney, pathetic, gimps on 3 legs, and plays fetch like no bodies business. One of his hind legs was shut in a cardoor, though the vet says no serious damage, and he'd begun putting weight on it again. Everyone needs a pathetic rescue dog though, so he's ours.

My chosen dogs: Ricca aka Aga Vom Kleinen Holzchen (her Deutsche name) aka "Skuzz-Bucket" and Logan aka "Logi-bear". Ricca is old German and is supposed to mean Loyal Protector... if I remember right. Logan came off a name list I put together and picked it because it suited him best. Ricca is crazy and is a lot of dog to handle since she's German, but I wouldn't take her any other way. Logan is from a BYB and was rescued... he's lazy, sweet, and the worse guard dog EVER.
