I could never pick just one favorite. Some that immediately come to mind are-

"A Canticle for Leibowitz"
"The Harry Potter Series"
"Watership Down"
"A Confederacy of Dunces"
"Three Bags Full"
"The Time Traveler's Wife"
"Angela's Ashes"
"Animals in Translation"
"His Dark Materials" Trilogy
All Douglas Adam's books
All James Herriot's books
All Anne Rice's Novels
Most David Sedaris books.

I can't pick just one so

Jurassic Park By Michael Crichton
The Lost World By Michael Crichton
Relic By Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child
Dance of Death By Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child
The Harry Potter Series By J.K. Rowling
The TakingBy Dean Koontz
The Body DoubleBy Tess Gerritsen

Just a few, as an avid reader I'm always on the look-out for a good book.

Haha i remember those books. They were funny. I used to call my little sister fudgie. She'd get really mad at me.

I would have to say "Jane Eyre". I first read it in 5th grade or so; it was the longest book I'd ever read. I loved the story and learned lots of new words from it, that I didn't hear in rural Tennessee! It's the one book that I've ALWAYS had to own a copy of, and go back every few years and reread.
Of course, I love lots of other books too. When we put our Charleston SC house on the market, the realtor walked through and said "get rid of all those books and bookcases". I thought she was crazy, but I cried and did it. Went from nine big bookcases to two; just couldn't get rid of everything. Maybe that's why the house took two years to sell!
