My first love in chickens is Cochins! I love all my birds but my cochins are such sweeties!

I've got a little Barred Rock that's my favorite. She's really rather plain but she has this belief that she's alpha mare of the chicken coop and I've got all these HUGE RIR and Orps who just bow down to her. She always wants me to hold her too so that's part of it. Also got one lonely Turken who I really didn't want, don't like their looks and didn't think I'd ever like but she grows on you. Now she's Beaky the Buzzard, funny but totally cool.

Orpingtons!!!! Doesn't matter what color or gender - great big puff balls of sweetness!! A close second would be New Hampshire Reds and Delawares.
