Java's all the way... We have 150 or so birds, totaling around a dozen breeds in our flock and do enjoy the many different breeds but for me I love the Javas the most. We are very fortunate not only to be one of the few that have all four color variations but to also have some great lines. If I could only have one breed it would be the Java.

I have the Easter Eggers, some of them are very friendly and some are very standoffish

I have some Australorps, I think they are very pretty and they are super freindly

I have some Buff Orpingtons which are more like conventional pets, they fly up on my shoulders, and back, rest on top of my head etc, I like them a lot, but I think they may be the dumbest

I have some Dominiques and they are the most curious. I think they are the most intelligent.
