Well since I show chickens, I just choose the Black Variety. I mean, you don't need to scrub out the scales if they dust! And when the black has a sheen it's gorgeous, it can be a purple-ish and greenish.

I love all blue chickens! I have blue silkies, blue orpingtons, blue EEs, blue lace red wyandottes, and blue cochins! Of course I have many other colors. But I love blue!
