What's your favorite gun?

SAA Colt .45 ....makes me feel like a COWBOY!!! Plus it has been in the family awhile.

Also like the .218 BEE cartridge...anyone have an extra they want toget rid of??? That or a .250 Savage???

Forgot to say that I can tell you which kid is my favorite...depends on the day though!!!

What do you mean? If you mean who made it, I'll need to check with my grandpa. And yes, I intend to keep it VERY clean. It's a fairly old gun, like thirty-some years, but it shoots real good. I hope to "keep it in the family."

It should say who made it right on the gun.

Ah, found it. It was a little hard to see. Made by Mossberg and Sons. I wish I had a pic to post here, but oh well.

I understand not posting about the type of gun and wether or not you are a collector, but only if you have your location/real name displayed as well. Also, what defensive use could a gun possibly have if it's stored a mile away? Our guns serve two purposes: recreation and home defense. I don't care if you've got a full-auto AK-47, if it's not at home, it's useless. However, I do support keeping gun and ammo in seperate locations, but close enough that you can grab the gun and load it in less than 30 seconds.

AR 15.

LOVE IT. They are awsome for target shooting, they are great for varmint hunting and also plinking glass bottles.

I also love Mossburg 12 guages, and my Winchester 308 with a synthetic rubber stock.

Walther p22 pistols are awsome for concealed carry since they are small and light. They are also great for women since they have smaller grips.

I got to hold a Glock 27 the other day and I think I like it a lot, it is small like the Walther but shoots 9mm instead of .22 so it is better for self-defence. The Glock 22 and 23 are good too, but bigger and kindof heavy, I think. They pull my pants down. Not good.

Rugar 1022 is a classic favorite, and cheap to shoot. Savage .223 and .243 are good guns too, and they are very accurate. Unfortunatly we cannot use a .223 for deer hunting here, but they are perfect for it. The .243 is just as good, though.

As for a favorite????? Not happening. Never, I could not pick.

These are all guns I have or have had in the past, except for the Glock 27.

I've probably broken every rule shown, but I'm not worried because I am so far out in the sticks. People can google me and probably find out TONS AND TONS of stuff about me. Not many people worry about home defense..... but I think you get it... 30 seconds? I shoot for less than 10 with kids in the house and coming out of a dead sleep. That's if it's needed, because I've got a 4 legged furry friend that'd be the front line of defense
