What's your favorite older movie ?

Movies is a hobby of mine. I often get stuck in bed with a flare for days sometimes weeks. So I watch movies. I love older movies. Such As any John Candy movie. He was so great. I love 70's movies like , Black Christmas, ZPG , and The First House on the Left. Also loved Funny Girl.
I also remember a movie late 70's or early 80's can't remember the name. It was about a hotel that had a secret 13th floor. If anyone can remember the name would be great. So what's your favorite movie ?

I am not a war movie buff, but my dad was an extra in Away All Boats and Battle Cry.... so I gotta like those
