the best one isn't even on the list.. radiatori
Yessss I was just going to say radiatori are the best hands down. I always just call them radiators though because I'm a weirdo. Lol@Down Under yes!!! Radiatori is by far my favorite pasta shape. If I had to choose just one.
Cavatappi is a close second for shaped pastas. With roting also being a favorite in our house. For spaghetti dishes, it's angel hair all the way!
Pisgetti.. that sounds like an Aussie at the pub on a Friday nightSpaghetti - Pisgetti
Penne Rigate was "Chops with the lines"Just for fun - these were the "Kid Translations" when mine were growing up. Some I still don't quite understand, but they all make me smile!

When I was a kid, rotini were "springs," too ... but rigatoni was "sock tops." Apparently, I made the comment as a tot and the cousins thought it was hysterical. I have a LOT of cousins, so half of my large family still calls them "sock tops" with their littles. It's fun!Penne Rigate was "Chops with the lines"
Rigatoni "Rigs"
I swear Wavy Lasagna used to be called Angel Hair before they changed Capellini to English. This was just "Long Wavy" and wasn't the wide noodles.
Rotini "Springs"
I grew up with "gravy," Tomato sauce was "red gravy." I've since given in to the vast majority who call it "sauce." I do often slip back into familiar ways and call it "gravy," much to the amusement and confusion of non-family!Next topic Sauce or Gravy?
If it makes you feel better we never really called it either unless someone was over who didn't know what "zucca" meant, then it was sauce.I grew up with "gravy," Tomato sauce was "red gravy."
