What's your least favorite breed?

Oh alright. Polish. I thought my first polish was some kind of a glitch...flighty, never seemed to catch on that that terrifying thing coming in the coop door was ME, bringing food. So, they *are* cool looking... haha, I ordered MORE. Oops, it wasn't a glitch. All twelve are just like the first one. And they were all raised exactly the same as my cochins ( who follow me like puppies ) or the australorps, who fly onto my shoulders and head.....

Aseel's just weird me out. There build just looks wrong to me and they're so slim and tight feathered that it looks more like skin to me. They're more like a dinosaur or something than a chicken. Pure astetics, but there it is.

Don't care about missing out on the love of a turken. My chickens aren't pets. I work full time and have 4 kids. I'm not missing out on any love.

I don't have time for any more pets, my cat is enough! Maybe when my kids are grown...

Name just about any of the Mediterranean breeds (Leghorns, White-faced Black Spanish, Minorca, Pendenesca, etc.), and I don't care for them. For one thing, most of them (especially Leghorns) are common because people like all the eggs they provide, so they don't need to much preserving (excluding, of course, the Pendenesca, which I hear is suffering badly). Secondly, the Mediterranean breeds are flighty and/or aggressive towards humans. Thirdly, I've heard that Mediterranean breeds tend to be more "cannibalistic" than other breeds.

I gotta say my turkeys find them very interesting. We have 4 that we got in a mixed batch. They are kinda funny to look at, but they have no fear and will wander all the way out into the horse pasture(about 800 feet) up to where the turkeys are at. The turkeys all run over the the fence and just stare at them. They aren't quit sure what they are, but they look like they might belong up there. It's really pretty funny to watch. Now the ducks and geese have a fit about it. My husband thinks they look kinda cool, but then he's pretty weird to sometimes.

Just from experience with my own... I would never get another Wyandotte or female Rhode Island Red (our cockerel is very friendly though.) As chicks we handled everybody the same, and the ones I just listed won't come within 5 feet of any of us. My favorite have been the red sex links. So friendly I'm always tripping over them, plus they lay the biggest eggs.

We're talking Malays, Shamos, Ga Noi, Thais, Brazilians, Malgache, Aussie Pits, etc.

I'll have to keep my head down then! I have heard of some of those but never seen them in person. I try not to judge based on pictures.

The ones who post a simple question and then pick at you for two days because they did not like your answer.

But I think you meant birds, right? I am not fond of game chickens other than the OE bantams. Don't care for Rhode Island Reds as everyone I had was an egg eater. Some breeds we have had have tended to produce nasty roosters. I won't name them because I don't want to argue with anyone but we got rid of those darn Sebrights. oops!
