My least favorites are silkies, any chicken that looks like its got an afro, bantams(except cochin bantams), naked necks and thats about it... i would still have a flock of leghorns if i could get withen 5 feet of em. I guess thats about it any other breed i could probobly get along with
Purely from an aesthetic standpoint, I think the Shamo and Asil are pretty hideous looking.
Temperament wise, though, White Leghorns. Flighty, aggressive and mean.
My least fave is the naked necks, sorry but we have vultures here and they remind me way to much of them. Next would be RIR & Leghorns for their temperament. I've own both and the red are aggressive especially the roos and the leghorns are way too flighty for me.
If you post I think that you should say why you think that because I have seen alot of people say Silkie and I think by far they are the best breed. They are the best because they are Cute, sweet, smart, the Roosters are supper nice we have a blue silkie roo and I give him a Hug every day His Name is Rudy I'll Say "Rudy who needs a Hug" and I will go and get him and rub him and he will go to sleep in my arms. My least favorite breed is turkens I do not like the way they look at all
SL Wyandottes. I tried a dozen of them for a couple of years. Good layers with alot of personality, but maybe too much. The most raucus birds I've ever had. And they were very destructive to my yard. Dust bathing in the 3 places I allow wasn't good enough for them. They would choose a nice thick sodded piece of grass and within an hour they could hide in the hole. I don't know if that goes along with the term "good foragers", but I got rid of them and thankfully, my BR's are not like that. I have just about repaired all the "mine fields". Just my opinion and experience.
