I tried to license them. I raised ringneck pheasants with a license so knew that I needed a license for the wood ducks. How did they find out that you had them?

What a shame that they took them when you were trying to do the right thing.I tried to license them. I raised ringneck pheasants with a license so knew that I needed a license for the wood ducks.
It was a LONG time ago so I was just a kid. The person who came to pick them up had great empathy for me, but 'the law is the law'.What a shame that they took them when you were trying to do the right thing.
Mine is my Mule Duck. She was born in my living room as I peeled her out of her egg. She was full of Goo and I washed her gently in warm water, put her under the light for heat and she is just a big sounding goose but my friendliest duck. Her dad was a huge Muscovy and Mom was a big Rouen Duck. No eggs but earns her keep by just being so friendly. What's your favorite bird? Probably not an easy question. Mine is my little Crele old english bantam Sugar. So sweet.
It's strange, when you research Mule Ducks it says they only live a year and a half. I don't know why. My Mule Lucky was born May 15, 2022. She will be 3 this may. I don't know why they give them such a short life span.Mine is my Mule Duck. She was born in my living room as I peeled her out of her egg. Thanks, she's fun, too. The others treat her more as a mascot than a chicken. The Polish thinks she and the flock leader are besties, although I don't think the leader agrees! She's beautiful!!!
You are most welcome. I am anxious to see how my other ducks accept my male Wood Duck since he will be very colorful and different sounding than they are. Hopefully all will go well this week when I get both a male and female. Thanks, she's fun, too. The others treat her more as a mascot than a chicken.
