I haven't made one this year yet but last year I resolved to start getting my meat from local small producers. I have largely kept that one--and was quickly convinced that raising my own chicken was a good idea!
Two years ago I resolved to start hauling bags of groceries to church on the first Sunday of the month for Food Basket Sunday (it goes to the local food bank.)

My New Year resolution is to lose weight and get healthy.I have been on a sugar binge for the past two years.It's so hard when you're hooked on sweets.It makes you tired, depressed, mean, irrational,fat and paranoid( at least extreme amounts of sugar makes me like this) I swear, starting on Jan 1st,I'm making a clean start.This sugar thing is about the same as any other addiction.The first few days I'm off of it,I'm shaky,sick, and not too nice to be around.Of course,I wasn't nice to be around before....so..... What the heck....Hopefully,in the next few months a change will come.Good luck to all of you with your 2009 resolutions ...HAPPY NEW YEAR!:

For several yrs. I have neglected my house. So, My 2009 resolution is going to be get a 'handle' on it. It looks clean enough, but there is too much stuff, stuffed into closets, drawers and cabinets.

Last yr. my resolution was to be healthier and I did it. I lost 16lbs and my annual health physical was "prefect"! And at 55 that's says a lot. I hope that I can be as successful at the 2009 resolution...Dixie
