Really i didnt know that!!!! I have eggs hatching on July 5th and more than 20 eggs under a broody that are gonna hatch. Great i'm an idiot lol ugh

What did you cross them with to get the frizzle gene? The first generation may be okay (since the feathering will have loosened), but breeding back to the aseel to get the type correct is what is going to cause the problems.

What you could do is select for the "oriental" build of the aseel and the loose feathering, and frizzle of the cochin, and create something completely new.

It can be a frizzle "whatever-you-name-it"

Most people on BYC have a pet breed project. Maybe its bringing back the lamona, or creating a new color of the polish. So whats yours? Mine creating a bantam aseel. Please say what yours is!
