well i guess they changed the format but now i can upload from smart phone but ive gotta relearn things
 
Randy, I have a nice type two year old Wheaten hen and she has a few darker wheaten areas on the chest, do you have any molt out this way.

Will post a picture later today.

yes i have 3 with a few darker spots towards the chest they are also the darker backed hens as well . all of my older hens 6 year old and up theres no sign of that. I wonder if that's the fault ApA talked about in spotted chest?
 
Are you guys referring to actual spots, or more like patches of darker wheaten coloring? Pics please.

Interesting, almost looks like lacing? Randy, you say you get this with your darker hens?

Would this be a fault or even a DQ?

Debbi, I think this would be what we call a breeder bird. It would be a fault if we were showing.
 
Yes Don, that is understood, she is a nice girl. Just wondered if one were to show up at a show if it would DQ or be a fault. Did she get these spots with her second molt?
