Hey folks! My wheatens have all battened down for the winter and I'm getting no eggs. I didn't hatch any this past summer as planned so this spring I've got to. I've only get a few to work with and will be looking for some to add. If anyone is in or near Virginia, send me a PM.

A wheaten hen with a white feather in the wing, I know should be bred away from but what is the rule in the show ring? Is it a DQ? May be a dumb question but I want to be sure.

She is called Monica. She is on the darker side of Wheatens but has great type. Which is why I was really sad when I discovered she had developed a side sprig!
Oh well. I'll keep her for egg colour.

yeah i saw her photo . she is a chunky one great type and with this sort of egg colour she s laying .Make her a good breeder.

How is the weather in Lancashire .I lived in Glasgow Scotland 20 years ago, pretty awesome weather .sunny all a year around. Ha Haaaaaaaaaaa.
