Wow I found this thread on page 4 lol. So if I wanted to make a blue wheaten and used a wheaten roo x a blue hen. I think the chicken calculator said I would get 25% blue females, 25%black females, 25% blue males, 25% black males. Hmm so what next- just breed those blue female chicks back to the wheaten roo again?

Good idea...a hatchery was using two pictures of my birds and claiming they were theirs even though I had my name on them. They didn't even bother to take my name and the copyright symbol off.

I guess I am a little different about others using our pictures as at one time had a website with my collectible glass in it for reference and stated on first page for any one that wanted to copy any of the pictures they wanted. Anyone thats wants can use any of my pictures they want if they are good enough. Don

I just got 2 shipments of Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Marans eggs today!

From Lisa Cree and Nancy Garry. They will be set tomorrow. I am stoked! These Wheaten eggs were a lot darker than I thought they were going to be (with the exception of one BW).

These are from Cree. No flash...sorry it's blurry.
