Whitish lobes
Good call on the lobes. Looks like he also has two sprigs at the back end of the blade? It shows up if you enlarge the pic.

I like the keeper! Wish he had more shank/toe feathering, but love his color! How old is he?

And the ladies all look good to me from what I can see. What is with the third roo? I can only see parts of him.

No sprigs just scared scabs
they are pron to get scabs . im not sure the cause some times they bleed on the large combs . but black or brown scabs is what the are often from frost bite
the 3rd roo is got some cotton tail and comb is kinda floppy he is not my favorite

Well, phew! Glad to hear it's not sprigs! They do have some big combs, do you have a lot of problems with frostbite? One of my boys lost a chunk out of the end of his blade a couple of winters ago. I get black tips of the points, but so far haven't lost anything.

lots of trouble with frost bite . the dumb boys can sleep in warm coop but like to sleep out in snow
normaly i pull the purches so they go indoors

Well the silly things! I had a couple of pullets that did that for their first winter. I'd come out in the morning, and they'd be covered in frost or snow. Not my boys, they are the first ones to get the good spot on the roost! Looks like everyone this year is being smart and sleeping inside.

I like your keeper roo, too... Am I seeing right that the copper on their hackles on the front of their chest doesn't go down as far as I have seen in some FBCM roos?? Just wondering if I am looking at it correctly..
