I just hatched these guys yesterday.... they are sooo cute .. these are from my wheaten marans girls and King Arthur, the wheaten roo. The others are black coppers..

They ARE cute. Nearly as cute as mine.

Thanks . i love the heavy leg featheing. 3+ year olds still looking ok . flock is up to 17 hens and 7 roos . il b butchering 5 roo next weekend i guess. and selling a few hens

I have a pullet who is a little over 25 weeks old and no where near red faced. What is the average age for a Wheaten Marans to start laying? Just would like to know if I have 2, 4 or 6 weeks to go for dark eggs!
