I just found this post... I am sure this question has been asked...

I bought what I thought was ALL Wheaten Marans eggs.. after hatching and growing out it was soon discovered I have 3 Blue Wheaten cockerels. All my hens are WM black tail . I see you can breed and get 50/50 for hatching.... If you get blue WM pullets and breed them back to a blue.. will you get all blue ? trying not to sound too dumb here.

I don't mess around with mixing colorsbut blue should give you 25 25 50

Wondering if you can help me on what color this guy is??? Eggs were marked BW, and hatched by a friend. I have been putting off posting a picture of him, as kinda scared I will be told to cull him, is not a option atm. ETA, he is exactly five months old.

This looks to be a very nice Blue Copper Male with a lot of size. Going to be a nice male when he finishes out.Look how great the eye color is.
