Wheaten and Blue wheaten Marans Discussion Thread

There have been pics of wheaten Marans on this site that do not show fluff. There are pics in this thread of at least one or two without it. If you don't show Marans I suppose it is no problem at all other than faults rarely fix themselves. I don't believe that fluff has always been a problem with Marans as it seems to be more of a problem in wheaten Marans than any of the other colors.
IMO it is caused by something that has been mixed into that color that is causing weak or none existent tail coverts....a fault.

aww your to kind, thanks ,i am only a few generations into this ,it takes forever (10 months each ) the girls all kinda look the same so egg color is my bigest thing getting 4s or 5s i would guess but im only hatching 2nd gen right now
