thanks so much , thats nice of u to say , the hardest part of breeding is culling all the roos , im running low on shotgun shels lol and may i just say THANK GOODNESS ITS FRIDAY

Hi All, anyone on the inside heard how the Wheaten proposed standard is coming along. I hope it is finished soon as we need something to use as a breeding tool.

Hi All, it was suggested a while back that we should ad the blue wheaten to the thread and I have done this today. Maybe we will get more input this way and not lose the thread from lack of posting.

things are quiet in the wheaten world
n nice eggs don , are your chicks feathering out ok ? do u ever get dark hens? i havent reproduced any dark hens since last year when i got 2

My females are supposed to be Ron Presley blood and I really like the but the males from this line had some white in the wings so I culled them and am using a young male from nivtup on BYC and we will just have to wait and see what happens. Most of the chicks I have off this male are only one week so will try and post some pictures next week. My wheaten have had very nice combs on males and females , so I am waiting to see what this cross produces.

Who is writing up the standard for Wheaton? I only have a token "sport" wheaton off a test mating but I am still curious about the process. Is there a timeline or a qualifying show...Sorry if this has already been answered, I don't usually follow this thread....Someone asked me who has wheatons.
