Hey Berk

When do you usually hatch? I wonder if that has anything to do with your hens taking 9 months to reach POL.
I have a Jan 31 hatched pullet who just laid her first egg at 17.5 weeks, a couple days past 4 months. Two of her hatchmates, a Bresse Blanche and a Black Copper Marans each have laid a couple pullet eggs as well. But the Wheaten hen who just laid today laid a much bigger egg than the Bresse and BC.

She's the one I posted back on page 111. Her breast cleared up nicely and has less wheat and more cream now.
