That may or may not be true. Pip has now gotten in some grey looking coverts in the tail break that he has never had before! I am sure he is a cross of a BCM and Wheaten, but as far as coloring goes, he favors the Wheaten. Randy, the cottontail is just another fault. The only way to eliminate a fault is not keep breeding for it, I took the chain saw and cut a nice 3' section of log and even bought a new ax to help with the problemand I don't think you're ever gonna get the cotton tail out of wheaten until they're born black like black copper . instead of yellow or white lol
