Yes, the new camera is giving me fits, I can't seem to get the lighting figured out. Without flash, I get these sepia type pics, with the flash I get a white blob!

Guess I need an outside light source. She/he is awful sweet, and yes, eats like a horse!

thanks don there a result of some test breading of 2 of my nicer hens almost a year and a half ago I got 2 hens in a rooster to create those 5 roosters the rooster that I used to create a group pictured got a leg injury and I had to put him down but I did manage to get them
in another month I'll post some more pictures and get your id vice I would love to have to keepers out of that group so hopefully in a few months I'll be back in business and I don't mean charging money for hatching eggs because basically for free people just pay me for the shipping. I'm only working towards getting a nice group of birds it to share with anybody that wants some

Looking good Randy! In the first batch of pics, the third pic down with the two boys, I like them both. The one on the left has that comb Don was talking about in the other Marans thread! Do your pullets typically get lighter in color as they get older? Good looking bunch!

they normaly turn blood red unless there sick as they get older and on another subject the floppy combs stiffen up an ther age
