The Wheaten split for Partridge, & wildtype are the brown, or golden brown chicks. The hen for example is a Wheaten split for wildtype.

The brown, & yellow chicks all hatched from my Buff Orpingtons eggs.

Somewhat sexlinked, but not always. I was able to tell gender by face coloration.

Yeah, it is.

Males had chocolate brown faces, & females had blonde. The trait is beginning to fade, which is okay.

The birds I started with for the project are Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rocks, & Australorps.

Barred Rock for Barring.

Buff Orpington for Wheaten

Australorp for more Wheaten

Australorps are actually Extended Black. Buff orps are actually pure wheaten, what you see as Brownish Color is actually Db(Dark Brown) on an Extended Black background, these birds will likely grow to be columbian restricted
