We have 2 Wheaten hens that are 9 months old along with a Wheaten rooster. The one hen has been laying for over 3 months. The hen in question has not layed a single egg and in the last month just sits around, hardly walks and when she does it is very slow. She eats and drinks plenty, has not discharge from eyes or no sneezing...looks healthy other then the seemingly difficulty in walking. Is there something we can do for her? Is it some sort of disease? Is it caused by a egg stuck inside??

Have you looked at her feet? See if her feet/legs look scaley. She may have mites. I have just go my brood cured of it. It's an easy cure, dip the feet in cooking oil. It doesnt have to be "new". I have a friend with a restaurant and I got used oil from her. Just dip them (I did it every day for a week, then every other day for a week) and you will see the scales (mites) fall off. I treated all of mine just for preventative maintenance. You will also need to change the nests out and it wouldnt hurt to sprinkle some SevenDust. Basically, you suffocate the mites with the oil . I hope this helps.
