I had posted this little pullet in my other thread, but I'm really curious about what she might be, and what to breed her with to try and create more of her.
Here is a satin pullet that seems to be wheaten. The rooster was a blue satin and the hen was what I thought was a blue partridge. This same cross hatched out another satin that I think is a blue partridge as well. I'll post her for input on her color as well.
I bought their parents and this is the first year I've hatched, so I don't have a genetic history on them.
My questions:
- is she a wheaten?
- how did a blue x blue partridge make this
- what color silkie would lead to the most colorful results with her
- what color silkie could I cross her with to make more like her
- what color is her sister?
Wheaten pullet
