Wheezing but otherwise normal

Yes, no problem eating or drinking. Also, she looked a little pale in the face today.
I just went to my local vet (who knows nothing about birds). He gave me half a (Fenbendazole) pill, which is about 25 mg.
She’s probably a 2lb bird so you’re telling me I should give her about .5ml (0.005mg I think)? I don’t think I can divide such a small amount from this pill.
I guess I need a bird vet. This is frustrating but I greatly appreciate your help.
If the vet gave you the pill, then they should have been able to provide dosing instructions.

You would think. But this vet is someone I know, but who’s expertise I don’t trust. I just go to them when I know what I want and can get it easily.
I took the bird to a another vet and he said he thought the bird had pneumonia (maybe a problem with translation) so he gave me some antibiotics. Anyway, I am now administering those. My situation is less than ideal so I just feel I need to throw what ever I can get at her.

I’ve got a 4 month rooster doing something similar. I have gapeworm in my area and he had it a month ago. The wheezing and strange noise just started four days ago. His breath sounds are somewhat labored but I can’t hear my girls his age breathing at all. So I feel he has something going on too. I’ve done fecals and so far no gapeworm eggs but from time of new infection to seeing eggs in stool can be two weeks or so. His activity and appetite are normal for the most part as well. Lmk how your hen does. Does she shake her head or yawn excessively?
