I don’t know if this posted. My 6 month old white Cochin just laid her first egg today. She went into the nesting box and made a nest for herself using her beak moving around the dry wood chips. Then she laid her egg. Ever since then she’s been wheezing with every inhale and exhale. She’s eating and drinking and walking around and searching for bugs. Do you think she might have a wood chip stuck in her throat? If so how do I figure it out. And if so what do I do for her? Thank you.
 
It sounds like she could be having a sound called stridor. Does it sound like this video below? Stridor happens when something partially blocks the airway, and that could be from mucus, a piece of food, or swelling in the airway from a respiratory infection. Does she sneeze? Here is the video:
