Can i put my chicks out for good here in a few more weeks? We have them in are livingroom for like a month now, and the ages are from like about 6 week olds to 3 weeks old. Today i put them outside, thats where they are now in a great big cage and they loved it, i took a few out and let them walk around and its so nice out today, were in missouri, and average temps are around 70* and it just seems like them being inside all the time would get unhealthy for them and the air can get a bit stuffy at times being inside, they seemed to really enjoy the fresh air and all the grass, i dont want to put them out in their coop for a few more weeks though, like maybe 2 more weeks but after 2 more weeks would it be okay putting them out there for good? The oldest ones are about 1 1/2 months old and the youngest are 3 weeks.

I put my chicks out side at 1 or 2 weeks old. With a heat lamp and shelter of course.

Just like getting garden plants ready to go outside. Maybe not so abrupt in putting them out, but let them have their play days and field trips first. 70 degrees just seems nice and toasty (I am in Montana and it is snowing). The younger ones maybe not.
