My chicks are about a week old, and was wondering when I can let them start to play outside. (Supervised).
I live in Texas and it's a beautiful day out, could I take them outside for a little bit or are they not old enough?

Yeah you could them out for a bit, though I would keep a close eye on them. I would put them in the shade if possible since I don't think direct sunlight is the best for the first few weeks. Depends how long they're out I guess

Yeah I was thinking maybe 15-30 min outside and definitely keeping an eye on them.

Our chicks have always seemed to love going outside on a warm, sunny day.... We've found they get under some shrubs if it seems too hot. Of course we supervise, but I like giving mine a break from the box when the weather cooperates.

When I started letting letting mine out they were 8 weeks old. If you let them out now make sure they the grass is nice and dry with no puddles around
