When can I let them go outside?

My Chicks are 4 weeks old and growing very well. I have a fenced grassy area outside of their coop, and wonder if I can let them out there yet. I just finished the door from coop to outside, and am anxious to let them roam within the fenced area. Is it too soon?

At four weeks I let my chicks outside (weather permitting). Whats the weather like where you are?

It is hot here in Minnesota today. 90 and humid. The coop is well ventilated, but there is a nice breeze outside.

I start taking my chicks out at two weeks old.

I opened the door this morning, and they are playing the game of 'you go first'. Fun to watch, but so far no one has been brave enough to take that march down the ramp! Funny girls!
