When can I remove heat lamp

Hey y'all quick question I was just wondering when I can take the heat lamp off my chicks I have them in a room with its own thermostat and I keep it at 70 degrees and I've been raising the heat lamp weekly weening them off the lamp chicks are 4 weeks old and have almost all feathers I'm thinking if I turn up the heat a bit they should be ok without the lamp thoughts?

If they are mostly feathered, you can remove the heat lamp entirely. At four weeks, I usually have my chicks off heat completely and outdoors already.

Time to start taking chicks outside for brief field trips to get them acclimatized to cooler temps. Increase the duration each day, and in a week, you could move them into the coop and run.
