So today, we came home from church to so many surprise chicks!!!
We have 10 cats we inherited when we purchased our house. They were supposed to be feral, but they have since turned into big babies. They have a heated cat house up next to our house and several additional cat boxes they can use if they they’re not feeling friendly.
We also have a multitude of chickens.
Today we came home from church and I heard some peeping. I saw 2 chicks. I got so excited because those are the first chicks we’ve hatched. I ran in and set up my chicken box (it’s really cold here). When I went back out to retrieve them I realized there were chicks EVERYWHERE. They were all around and in the cat houses. Climbing on top of cats, snuggles under them… just everywhere. It was adorable. We figured out that the chickens have been laying eggs in their boxes and apparently the cats hatched them! Haha!
