When did Purina take animal protein out of Game Bird feed???

More protein in fact...
I know a few breeders in the southern North America, Central America and the Caribbean that raise a number of breed and there protein amount is no higher than mine up here.
Breeds and age play a big role in the protein amount you should feed, A lot of the people I know that raise Oriental Fowl wont feed over a 16% protein to growing birds in fact most feed a 14% protein and a good percent of them live in the Southern U.S. and Central America.

I have a Flight Conditioner tag from last July & it does list animal protein, so yes a change. I hope you are right on the other two.
You might want to check with the mill you got the feed at and see if they by chance ordered a Vegetarian version.
If Purina did change there mix you could see if they can get either Purina Honor Show Chow Turkey Starter/Grower or a feed that contains Animal Protein in it.

The Honor Show Chow Turkey Starter/Finisher does contain Bacitracin Methyene Disalicylate (BMD) but there is no with draw on it. There Honor Show Turkey Starter contains both Amprolium and BMD.
The Starter/Finisher is 22% protein where there Starter in 30% protein. I also believe that you can get a Non-Medicated version of both.
