When did your chickens start to lay eggs?

All of mine started to lay rather late. Youngest was at almost 7 months and eldest 1 year and 2 months.

Mine started at 19 weeks. Black Austrlorps, so not quite 5 months.

My EE was the earliest at 16 weeks. The latest (so far) was 27 weeks. How soon or late yours lay will highly depend in the breed.

I also have EEs and my earliest to lay was 16 weeks old and then latest was 24 weeks old.
