When did your Easter eggers start to lay?

28 weeks, generally. I kept track the first time I got an EE chick. I know they're more slow to mature, so after that first batch o' all different chicks, I just stopped worrying about it. They'll all lay when they are ready to do so. I know of others who have waited longer.

My EEs from this year started at 18 and 20 weeks. Never had any wait past 22-23.

Well my EE is 37 weeks 5 days and still no egg yet

Mine usually start around 30 - 35 weeks. They are slow to mature.

Mine are 23 weeks and no eggs.

My single Buff laid her first egg today, about 26 weeks or so. I noticed with her that she would do the long bawk baaawk song all day long starting about two weeks ago. I just noticed that she will squat down when I come in the coop, that started about a week ago. So I guess those are signs they are getting ready?

OK,.... 24 weeks and got a nice green egg today. The others I think will start soon too.
