Appreciation Post for Tank

Just wanted to give a shout out to my rooster Tank for being such a great protector of the little ladies. Today he gathered them all to hide from a big hawk that was perched by the coop. He keeps a watch on the sky’s 24/7. Hawks are our biggest predator here in rural Michigan. Tank isn’t even a year old yet and he’s already doing such a great job. He’s also really sweet to us and the ladies. If you’re thinking of getting a rooster consider Welsummers. Great protectors and so sweet. Also beautiful colors!
