My two EE's are 4 months old and haven't started laying. Those of you that have EE's, how old were they when they started laying?

Just this week. She is almost 5 months old. I am so proud of her.

Marytoast,

What color did she lay? I'm really hoping mine lay blue or green, but I have a feeling that I won't be that lucky.

My EE bantams started laying at 4 months old, now they are close to 8 months old and both are broody and sitting on 3 eggs each

Poof Face, my EE started laying I think around 6 months. She is now 7 years old and still lays eggs, green ones.

You might be waiting a while on that one. From the pic you posted, it looks a bit like a boy! Post a few more pics, especially of the back of its neck and back and tail. A closer pic would also help.

Buying sexed pullets is only about 90% accurate unless they are Sex-Links. I know thin because I bought two EE Pullets and one was a boy as well. then I started to check it out.
