When do Brabanters stop growing???

My family has a 5 1/2 month old. I didn't see her for two weeks and when I came to visit she almost doubled in size! I was in shock

I know some of it is winter feathers but she is much heavier and her head got huge too. I am just curious weather this is a normal growth spurt.

This is an interesting question. I got a creme brabanter roo and a spitzhaben roo about 2 months ago. I noticed that in the last couple of weeks, they both seem to have suddenly gotten huge. I did not see this as a gradual progression. It was as if they were both about the same size as my Polish hen, and now they are suddenly a lot bigger. I figured it was just me being unobservant, but maybe this is a trait?

Mine are about 5 1/2 months old too. My roo eats like there is no tomorrow and he is the biggest bird of that age I have. Bigger then even the Jersey Giants. I do have 1 hen that is very small. She is really like a Bantam Brabanter. She is cute.
My roo is big and getting bigger. He is tall, not meaty though.
