When do/don't you assist?

I've never seen a duck egg...are they bigger? That's pretty crazy! I hope it goes well. Will you keep it?
Time to build a pond. Lol.

The eggs are slightly different. Most people wouldn't notice if you didn't say anything.

Confirmed. 1 duck so far. 2 more on the way.

Any issues with putting them in the brooder with 1 week old chicks?

I think they'll be OK. Ducklings grow faster then chicks anyway. You'll probably have to figure out a way to make sure the ducklings get enough niacin.

Anyone want to take a guess as to what breed these guys are?

Summary, 12 eggs, 8 developed by day 7. 5 chicks hatched day 20-21, 3 ducks day 27-early the 28th. Janoel 12 incubator worked well

So cute! Maybe Khaki Campbell? I don't know....I don't have any ducks.

Khaki Campbell works for me. Now I have something to tell people who ask yet know nothing about ducks

It kind of looks like a Peking duck. I have raised them from chicks and it looks a lot like mine. If so it will be white when it's feathers
Come in.
Today I got my first 4 bantam/silkie chicks. This was the first time I used an incubator. I tried the Brinsea mini advanced. It did the job
Since I got 4 out of 4.

Here's a pic of the parents. The chicks are all black, black skin, 5 toes, feathers on legs.
