when do ducklings stop cheeping?

Quote:
we had to bring our duckling inside to raise because mama wanted to kill it, he never once peeped for mom. but I suspect if you take them from mum then they are going to miss her terribly. they'll need alot of loving

Often the amount of noise they make will indicate things like - hungry- thirsty- too hot or too cold or if removed on their own- they will peep as much for other ducklings as they will for their mother. But it may differ between actual ducklings as well- some may only take a few hours to adjust to a life inside away from the mother- but others may be noisey and skitish for days.
