When do Easter Eggers start laying?

My EE, Pretty Girl, is just about 21 weeks. Still no eggs, no squatting, and no red face. I am so bonkers waiting to see the first egg! Maybe this will help me learn patience... Or drive me crazy! :D

My EE was 9 months old when she laid her very first egg...get this...on Christmas Day. I'm not kidding. And then, from that day onward she laid an egg nearly every single day.

One of my EE's laid an egg today at 19 weeks old. But the egg was very small and pink. Is that normal? Maybe because it is the first egg. Any input anyone?

Me too sort of. I purchased six because that is the minimum MPC would ship. Then one expired in the mail. We rescued one (which turned out to be the rooster) from severe dehydration on day three. All are fine except they were supposed to be bantams and are now larger than our Red Crosses. MPC was very apologetic and we refunded the entire charge since they weren't bantams. They are EE's, just not bantams. They were twenty-six weeks yesterday and still no eggs. We learn as we go along I guess!

I have two EE's (or at least that's what I was told they were) that are 36 weeks old and still haven't laid any eggs. Or lets say I haven't seen anything resembling blue or green. I have three BO's and one Jersey Giant so I see the brown eggs all the time (at least from my BO's). Any idea what's taking my EE's so long to lay? Their names are Nancy Bockwin and Nugget LOL.
