when do guineas start laying?

Well I am so excited! I for the first time let my guineas out to free range for sbout an hour yesterday and
today! I opened the door an they came right out and stayed within 5 to 10 ft. Of theys family ansd I.
They loved it! I didnt want them out all night and was nervous that they eouldnt go back in, but they followed us tight in! That was
success for me. Cant wait to let them out longer, just nervous they are my babies!

I found that the end of April and early May is the time my Guineas lay in the central part of Pennsylvania.

I have one that just started laying eggs last week. I believe she's confused. Lol

A warm spell a few years ago caused Guineas in my area to start laying in February.

I am excited for my guineas to start lying this spring, I am nervous about them laying outside the chicken house. I saw someone posted a comment saying they let them out after they lay for the day but I don't even know which are females and which are males.
