when do leghorns start laying????

I've heard that leghorns start laying at like 4.5 months, is this true???? If so, I need to start looking for eggs soon!!!!

I have 10 white leghorns and the first to lay was 16 1/2 weeks. They just turned 20 weeks on yesterday and I'm getting 6-8 eggs a day.
