When do local feed stores sell baby chicks?

My fav feed store sells chicks earlier AND later than other local ones around her: from the second week of Feb to the third week of Oct.

I am in Southern California. The feed store I normally go to carries LF chicks year round, but the selection is more limited in the winter. The owner said they won't be getting any bantams until Spring. They get a shipment of LF pullets every Wednesday this time of year, so I was able to get three chicks today for one of my two broody cochins.

my feed store stalks me because it seems like every time i hatch or get chicks they have them SAME AGE as mine on the 21st of dec they just got 100 RIR/EE/BA 's

Hello,

I'm in Maine... I get my chicks from Mt Healthy through a local feed store and they have shipments that you can order from on two different dates-- Either May or June.... But you have to order a month ahead of time.
