Their almost 7 weeks old now and have all their feathers???

My first time hatching from eggs and keeping the chickens?? so how long do they stop acting 'chick' like???

when have your matured????

some thing with the ducks too? their almost 5 weeks old and their big ducks?? when do they like become duck like and stop peeping?

I am a first timer, but my chickens just started clucking within the last few weeks. They are 16-17 weeks old.

I got my 1st quack from our almost 4week old duck yesterday, it was adorable, can't wait for the Clucks from the chickens!!!

I'm a first-timer also, mine are 10 weeks old. A couple have started to cluck, one has started a quiet bwwaaaak, and they all still peep. Enjoy your peeps.

I was wondering the answer to this as well, my 3 older sexlink girls and my 4 orpingtons all started clucking around 2 months old and it didn't take long to get to bawking, maybe another week. In fact the orps just turned 2 months old this week and have been clucking about 1 week now, so maybe more like 7 weeks for them . . . .

My older pullets are 17 weeks, and while they mostly cluck at each other, they do still make a peeping noise at each other when they're doing certain activities; like dust bathing.
