I have two Pekin ducks that are almost 6 weeks old and neither of them have quacked yet. Does this mean that they’re both boys?

Very soon 6-8wksI have two Pekin ducks that are almost 6 weeks old and neither of them have quacked yet. Does this mean that they’re both boys?
Girls are louder than boysI have pekings too! They are so fun.
I really like the white color.
One thing that confused me about them is that they don't sound exactly like other ducks. So when people are telling me how to gender check them, they are saying 'soft raspy quack' for boys, and loud quack for girls or something and it was confusing.
To me with pekings, the girl quacks sound like HONKing quacks almost. And they are loud.
I'm still not good at telling them apart. But I think my two girls are loud and honk. The boys do this raspy almost small sound. (It was confusing to me why the girls would sound deeper than the boys, but that's I guess how it is?) The boys are quiet.
Maybe you do have boys?
Its easier to analyze their sounds when you go to feed them, because they will be excited and noisy then. And then you can listen to them for a bit.
But with pekings...one issue I had trying to figure them out is that they look so similar. I had to use those colored leg bands for poultry on them to know what was what, because they are moving around and then I'd lost place of which was who, etc.
Hope that helps. But I'm not that good at the gender identification still. Feel free to over write what I say anyone.
I had a 1/2 doz pekin, i brooded them in a pool in my house.. at about 4+wks the brooder pool kept getting louder and louder... the odd honkish sound, i ended up with 5 girls and 1 boy lol.
Pekin get drake curls to but that comes much later but by then you should be able to tell from voice. Pekin female are pretty loud... a neighbor of mine has some and were rural so many acres apart and i can hear his start going off...
My remaining female is loud when she wants to be but at 6yrs old she's fairly quiet now.
Do you remember how many months/weeks old yours were, when you first started getting eggs? This is what I'm trying to figure out still.
The pool idea is cool.
And what do you have now? It sounds like that was awhile ago, so it must have changed since then.
