When Do Pullet Eggs Start To Get Bigger?

Our Speckled Sussex started laying on 6.10.12 (yay!) and thus far they have been fairly small, around 1.25 ounces. My Question is, approx. when will they start to get larger? I have introduced oyster shells into their diet after she laid her first egg and they free-range somewhat.

They will get larger gradually but may stay fairly small until after her first molt. You might notice in her second season of laying that the eggs will be a little bigger. However some birds never lay really large eggs. I have a BO that is in her third season of laying and her eggs are still only medium in size.
